This chapter of Napoleon Hill’s “Think And Grow Rich” is about one of the greatest moment in American History: The Declaration of Independence. Mr. Hill reports the previous events that had led to this exceptional document, signed by 56 fearless men who gave birth to a nation “destined to bring mankind forever, the privilege of making decisions.”
He claims, that decision and consequential action are crucial for success. Each of the 56 man who signed the Declaration of Independence knew one thing for sure: should the colonies lose the fight with Great Britain, which was sure to follow, they would have signed their own death warrant.
But as we know today, the 56 congress members had made their decision and kept at it regardless of any personal danger, so that on July 4, 1776, Thomas Jefferson “fearlessly read the most momentous decision ever placed upon paper.”
