The ninth step toward riches is all about power and how personal power can be multiplied by selecting a group of people (the Master Mind) to support one’s project. Actually, Napoleon Hill states, that “great power can be accumulated through no other principle!”
Power in this regard is defined by Napoleon Hill as organized and intelligently directed knowledge, or rather organized effort to transmute desire into money to grow rich. Napoleon Hill: “Power is required for the accumulation of money!” and “Power is necessary for the retention of money after it has been accumulated!”

Napoleon Hill reports, that he had learned the Master Mind principle from Andrew Carnegie 25 years before “Think And Grow Rich” was published. And he considers the discovery of this principle being responsible for his life’s work.
Napoleon Hill makes the following statement to illustrate the concept of a Master Mind: “No two minds ever come together without, thereby, creating a third invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a third mind.”
Furthermore Mr. Hill describes the Master Mind groups of Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and Mahatma Gandhi and talks about power, wealth, plans, growing rich and becoming poor.
